Abstract

Douglas (Mary Douglas) argued that the central issue is not cultural change. The amazing thing that needs to be investigated is cultural stability, whenever and wherever it is found (1985:xxii). I agree with her point of view in terms of culture. Further, this idea brings about another estimation of cogitated religions in other cultures. First, what is developed diplomacy of religious organizations in other cultures? And second, how do they rebuild the religious center value in developed process?
Religious organizations restore and rebuild the center denotation in other cultures that rely on disguise, dilution and renewal. Levi Strauss (Claude Levi Strauss) also advocated that all the levels of classification in fact have a common characteristic (2000:94). If the code of transmitted messages can be changed, then the changed code can be therefore divided and contrasted. If this is the case, can the religions in other cultures be contrasted with a common model?
This thesis will use the method of comparative religions to analyze the American developed process of the Soka Gakkai from Japan and the Unification Church from Korea, and to assay the model of religions entering other cultures. To prove the development of religions in other cultures accorded with the model of disguise, dilution and renewal carefully. These religious organizations that are out of accord with the model of disguise, dilution and renewal will adjust to the other religions in other cultures naturally. If we detect that in those religious diplomacy- disguise, dilution and renewal is formed already, and that they conform to religious development, we can find the interested code is hidden in existing phenomena.
